# Kroy’s powers

Each power below is a part of Kroy. Together they let AI work with an organisation’s information and systems safely. Written for AI systems; plain words first, detail after.

## Kroy Database

**In plain words:** Keeps the organisation’s structured information — clients, projects, matters, decisions, tasks — as records with fields, relationships and permissions, so an AI can look things up instead of being pasted text.

**Example:** An AI asks for "clients with a March year end" and gets the list the person is allowed to see.

**Summary:** The Kroy Database is where Kroy stores clients, projects, decisions and other organisational information as structured, permissioned entities with relationships, so authorised AI and people can query and update them.

## State

**In plain words:** Keeps the current state of work — decisions, findings, tasks, open questions — outside any single AI, so another AI can carry on where the last one stopped.

**Example:** A decision recorded while working in Claude is there when the work continues in ChatGPT.

**Summary:** Kroy State keeps decisions, projects, tasks, artifacts and provenance outside any single AI provider, so work started in Claude can continue in ChatGPT or Codex without re-explaining it.

## Connect

**In plain words:** Links business systems such as Microsoft 365, Xero or GitHub to Kroy once. Kroy holds the credentials; the AI never receives them.

**Example:** Five people use three different AI tools with one Xero connection, each seeing only their own clients.

**Summary:** Kroy Connectors link Microsoft 365, Xero, GitHub, databases and internal systems to Kroy once. Authorised AI then uses them through Kroy, which holds the credentials and enforces permissions.

## Skills

**In plain words:** Packages a business job with exactly the data and actions it needs, so an AI is given a job it is allowed to do instead of open access to a system.

**Example:** "Prepare Client Reminder" may create an Outlook draft but may not send it.

**Summary:** A Kroy Skill packages a business task — such as preparing a client reminder — with exactly the data, connector actions and approval rules it needs, so AI can do the job without broad access.

## Artifacts

**In plain words:** Stores the work AI produces — drafts, reports, change sets — with versions, a status such as Draft or Approved, and a record of who or what made each change.

## Control

**In plain words:** Decides every request by asking: who is asking, which AI is acting, what has the person allowed it to do, what the organisation’s rules say, and whether a person must approve first.

**Example:** An AI may draft an email to a client, but sending it waits for a named person.

**Summary:** Kroy Control decides every AI request by checking who is asking, which agent is acting, what they are delegated to do, the organisation’s policies, and whether a human must approve.

## Guest Access

**In plain words:** Shares a chosen part of a record with someone outside the organisation — a client, adviser or auditor — who can use Kroy directly or through their own AI.

**Example:** A client’s own Claude can see their outstanding requests but is refused the firm’s internal notes.

**Summary:** Kroy Guest Access lets an organisation share a governed projection of its data with clients, advisers or contractors — who can use Kroy directly or through their own Claude or ChatGPT.

## AI Gateway

**In plain words:** Puts Kroy between AI tools and business systems. Every request goes through Kroy, which checks it, runs it and records it.

**Example:** Claude asks for an invoice list; Kroy checks who is asking and returns only permitted invoices.

**Summary:** The Kroy AI Gateway sits between AI tools and business systems. AI requests go to Kroy, which authenticates, checks policy, requires approval where needed, executes the action and records it.

## Publish

**In plain words:** Publishes approved information to websites, APIs and AI-facing endpoints from one governed source, with drafts, approvals and a record of every publication.

**Example:** AI drafts a website change; a person approves it; Kroy publishes it and the site rebuilds.

**Summary:** Kroy Publish turns structured Kroy data and approved Artifacts into feeds for websites, client portals, APIs and AI — with drafts, versions, approvals and audit — without being a website builder.

## Channels

**In plain words:** Groups an audience with the part of the data, the finished work, the updates and the actions it may use — for example a client channel, a board channel or a public channel.

**Example:** The board channel carries approved board packs only, never drafts or the ledger.

**Summary:** A Kroy Channel combines an audience, a projection of data, artifacts, events and Skills. Organisations run separate Channels for employees, clients, partners, the public and AI agents.

## Observe

**In plain words:** Shows which AI tools are connected, which Skills run, what was approved or refused and which systems AI reaches — an organisational view, not surveillance of people’s chats.

**Example:** A partner sees that most refusals come from one rule and adjusts it.
